If you’re seeking a premium wear plate product with outstanding abrasion resistance, wear resistance, impact resistance and consistency, you’ve come to the right place. Clifton Steel’s TENSALLOY™ 450 Steel plate provides superior properties that result in a much greater resistance to wear than other carbon steel. This heated treated plate is specially processed to result in high hardness to make it wear resistant and more durable while providing predictable performance. As a result of all these properties, TENSALLOY™ 450 is the steel of choice for scrap metal shredder replacement wear parts. It’s also the go-to steel product for the construction, aggregate, mining, railroad, scrap recycling and other demanding industries.

In fact, it’s so consistent that our steel wear plate dramatically reduces industrial wear application issues like rubbing, scraping, and erosion. Even during peak production, abrasion resistant steel helps reduce lost production time due to worn parts that might otherwise hamper throughput.

At Clifton Steel, we work side by side with you to provide innovative solutions to your abrasive and wear resistant steel problems. Every step of the way, Clifton Steel provides consistent and controlled quality so our Tensalloy plates perform consistently with no surprises. What’s more, our abrasion resistant steel plates can be cut and profiled to your exact specifications.

Allow us the opportunity to design your wear parts to improve wear, reduce your inventory and save you money.
